  • Big Wet is a San Diego-based independent micro-festival with music, art, and interactive experiences at the center. 

    You can expect a safe, inclusive, and celebratory environment where opportunities for participation are frequent, new friendships are abundant, and having the most fun is highly encouraged.

    That said, we think it’s best to arrive without any expectations if you can! Check out out the Archive page for a look at past Big Wet events.

  • Big Wet will happen on May 16th, 2026 at The Soap Factory in San Diego, California. The doors open at 3pm, and close at 10pm.

  • Big Wet is a 21+ event. If you purchase a ticket and arrive under 21, we love your ambition—but we can’t let you in, and we can’t issue a refund. Please plan accordingly.

  • A valid 21+ government-issued ID and the QR code that was sent to your email at the time of purchase. You will receive a wristband at the door that must be worn at all times while on the venue grounds.

  • There will be no tickets for sale at the door, but you'll be able to purchase tickets online until 8pm on 05/16. We still recommend purchasing ahead of time to avoid day-of pricing. 

  • We're sorry you can't make it! We'll miss you this year.

    Tickets are non-refundable, but we'd love to have one of your friends instead!

Experience

  • Yes! The Soap Factory partners with some incredible local food vendors. We’ll release the vendor lineup closer to the time of the event. Check back soon!

  • There is no parking on the venue property itself, but there will be limited street parking nearby. We recommend ride share or carpool if possible.

  • There will be no re-entry once you’ve left The Soap Factory.

  • The Soap Factory allows smoking in designated areas only. Please look for smoking area signage at the event or ask a security guard or event staff.

  • The Soap Factory is a cashless venue. The following are accepted:

    • Visa

    • MasterCard

    • Apple Pay

    • Amex

  • First: Check @the.big.wet on Instagram - we’ll do our best to pair lost items in our possession with their owner.

    Second: Please email hello@soapfactoryevents.com for assistance. Any items left at the venue will be held for a period of five (5) business days. If items are not claimed, The Soap Factory will dispose of the item.

  • The Soap Factory is equipped to accommodate all ADA needs.

  • By purchasing a ticket to and attending this event, you consent to photography, audio/video recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by “Big Wet” and its affiliates and representatives. By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such media.
